Salt supply for road deicing
Sea salt is widely used for road de-icing and the prevention of ice formation on roads, yards, sidewalks, and industrial surfaces.
Its coarse grain size (2–7 mm) provides strong mechanical action and gradual release, making it particularly suitable for both preventative and corrective winter interventions.
Although it has lower purity than refined salts, sea salt offers excellent operational efficiency at a competitive cost making it the ideal solution for large-scale use by municipalities, private contractors, and infrastructure managers.
It is dried to reduce moisture and improve flow through both manual and automated spreading systems ensuring fast, effective, and continuous action even in harsh winter conditions.
